PAYMENT METHODS, SECURITY AND PRIVACY

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. Or you can Swish!

If you have a bank account in one of the banks that support Swish, you now have the option of paying directly through your cellphone using Swish, both online and in the shop. You don't have to live in Sweden or even have a Swedish cellpone number, but you do have to have an account in a supporting bank, which today is limited to Swedish banks.

If you live in Sweden you also have the option of paying through invoice (Klarna). 

Our partner for handling credit card payments online is Dibs, one of the leading actors in this field in Sweden. Dibs meets all security demands and goes through yearly reviews by MasterCard and Visa. Dibs offers the security standard 3D Secure, which is a security function when paying online with Visa or MasterCard.

3D Secure is also known as Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. 3DSecure means that the customer, in addition to providing his or her credit card details, also uses a PIN code to confirm his och her purchase. As a customer you can feel completely safe. In addition, the bank is liable for any cases of fraud that may occur.

HildaHilda does not have full access to the customer's payment information. 

HildaHilda's customer records are confidential and are not shared with third parties.

Important regarding shipments to Swedish addresses; please make sure to write your (or the receiver's) official name (as it reads on the driver's license or passport), as you may otherwise find yourself not being able to collect your package at the service point. 

 

TAX FREE

If you are a non EU resident you are entitled to a VAT refund.
In our physical shops we offer tax refunds in collaboration with Global Blue. Simply ask the shop attendant for a Tax Free note which you produce at customs (harbour or airport) as you leave the country in order to get your VAT back. 

If you shop online VAT will automatically be deducted at checkout. Note that your delivery address must be located outside of the EU.

 

PRICES

Prices can change without prior notice and HildaHilda maintains the right to adjust incorrect pricing as well as to annul orders with incorrect pricing.

 

ONLINE SHIPPING FEE

Within Sweden shipping is free of charge when purcases amount to 500 SEK or more. 

For international purchases our very favourable shipping rates with DHL are applied. Put your order in the shopping cart and choose your country for more precise rates.


Please make sure that you are up to date with your local customs regulations as customs fees vary between countries and regions. HildaHilda does not take any responsibility for fees added by local customs.

 

DELIVERY

Stock items are sent as swiftly as possible but no later than two working days after the order was placed.
We deliver our orders through the Swedish Post or  by DHL.

For smaller shipments, we may choose to ship with the Swedish Post. Within Europe, delivery by Post takes 2-3 working days. Outisde of the EU, delivery by Post takes up to 4-6 working days.

Orders which weigh more than 500g are normally shipped with DHL, by truck within Europe and by air to the rest of the world.

If you are in a  hurry to get your order, please contact us. If you let us know in time, we can always upgrade your shipment to a speedier alternative. The extra cost will be added to your order. 

 

ORDERS OF ITEMS NOT IN STOCK

We always try to get orders to our customers as quickly as possible. However, sometimes things go wrong and there is a glitch between stock updates and new orders. If an item is currently not in stock it takes approximately 4 weeks until it is back in stock. 

If an item is marked "not in stock" you can still order it by contacting us via e-mail or phone.

 

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND DAMAGED GOODS

Products can be returned and refunded or exchanged within 14 days of purchasing. Returned products must be in original condition accompanied by the original receipt. Freight costs are carried by the customer except in the event that the product is faulty in which case HildaHilda carries all freight costs. 

We kindly ask our customers to check the box or package upon delivery. Should the package be damaged make sure to take a picture of the package before opening it. This is important when filing a complaint with the shipping agent. Also take a picture of the damaged article and e-mail the pictures to us at info@hildahilda.se.

HildaHilda must always be contacted prior to returning faulty or damaged products in order to decide wether the article/s in question should be returned or not.

   

SPECIAL ORDERS AND FABRIC BY THE METER

Orders of patterns/pattern combinations, colours/colour combinations or products not part of HildaHilda’s standard range, including all fabric by the meter, are binding and cannot be cancelled nor refunded.

  

SHRINKAGE

HildaHilda textiles shrink by approximately 6% in the first wash. At the same time the colours become even more vibrant as the threads fall into place. Shrinkage does not constitute grounds for a refund.

 

ORDER OF OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS

Naturally we do our very best to keep our inventory list updated, but sometimes there is a glitch and an article runs out of stock before the inventory list is updated. Delivery of  textiles not in stock takes somewhere between 4-6 weeks.

 

COLOURS

The colours in the pictures on the website as well as on printed material can differ somewhat from the true colours.
